	Rezumat: The relationship between sports and socialization concerns two distinct questions: (A) Factors and mechanisms describing socialization in the field of sports and (B): The way activity in sports generally contributes to socialization. Therefore the former issue refers to what is learnt in sports, without a special concern for its utility in other areas of social life, which is called socialization in sports, while the latter implies the answer to the question whether sport has a transferable value into other social areas, and is called socialization through or by means of sports.
